Trust Your Timing

For the last few months, I have been poking and prodding, trying to find different opportunities for where I think I want to go in my career. There was a pivotal shift this month when an avenue I was most interested in pursuing was shut down, very abruptly. Leaning into my spiritual practices, I found myself surprised by my reaction to the news.

I expected myself to be devastated that that option was no longer available to me, to be angry, or to be jealous of the person that I knew got the role. Instead, I found myself very much at peace with it all. I trusted in the process, knowing on a deeper level that this opportunity was never meant for me. I am meant to be exactly where I am for now, until the next door opens. I trusted my own divine timing.

I know on a collective level, there are so many of us trying to pursue different things to make our lives better/easier/more efficient/etc. It can be a frustrating process, wanting more for ourselves and putting in the work but not seeing the reward. I’m here to remind you that what is coming your way will not miss you. You keep on poking and prodding until that door that is destined to open for you, opens. If it doesn’t happen, it was never meant to happen. There is something else out there that is specific to you, waiting for the exact right moment. Lean into this trust, this knowingness, that everything always works out exactly the way that it is meant to.

We understand that growth and development takes time. Success is not immediate. Any challenges you’re currently experiencing are paving the way for where you’re meant to go. We must celebrate the small wins and recognize the incremental progress we’re making with each effort. The smaller victories are what makes up the larger goals when we look back at our progression.

It’s easy to get lost in dreaming of the future, but all we have is right now. We must draw our attention back to each moment, fully embracing the journey we’re on, while we’re still on it.

As you’re navigating through your own process - take some time to reflect on the timing of your aspirations. Are you rushing through everything, only intent on the destination? Or can you drop into the present moment and enjoy your unique journey while on the way?

Find comfort in the knowing that everything is unfolding as it should. Trust in your timing, celebrate the progress, and keep moving forward with confidence and patience.
